Dabur International, a fully owned subsidiary of Dabur India formerly held shares in the UAE based Weikfield International, which it disposed of on 25th June 2012.
THE PRODUCT:
Real is a fruit juice brand owned by Dabur India Limited. It
is a pure fruit juice which contains no added flavors and chemicals. It is a
good source of instant energy and as much as 56 kcal of energy is present in
every 100 ml of the juice. Since it is a product from Dabur, it brings in a
sense of trust and consistency.
I had several considerations before choosing the product as
my marketing journal. Some of them are:
1. Immediate energy source in this fast paced world.
2. Health drinks on the run.
3. Value for money.
4. Availability in various flavors as per choice.
5. Specified nutrition value.
It comes as a refreshing drink to
a large class of people viz. sportsmen, office workers, travelers, industry
workers, students etc. Since it meets the immediate energy demands and it comes
from a household brand, it is easily associated with and thus largely
accepted.
